I am still feeling shagged even after 3 days of resting after the camp.
NTUCF FOC was great! Praise God for the wonderful fellowship during the camp! Through the games/performance/supper/theme talks/workshops, God has made me realised that fellowship is so much more important than results. Though we were consistently ranked as the last group for the first 2 days, our spirits weren't dampened. What's more important is that we've enjoyed each other's company and also forged strong bonds. God's grace fell upon us when we got 3rd for the skit which we discussed through dinner and was not rehearsed at all. The best part is-we got 2nd for games. =)
The camp also opened my eyes to the different denomination of Christ's followers. It was so different from the jumping that I experienced in cornerstone. But nevertheless, I knew that God wanted me to focus on the similarities and not argue about the differences. Ultimately, we are all serving the same God. "Revival will only come when all the Christians in Singapore are united as one, despite their differences" - Quoted from BK during cell.
Devotion time was on Jonah and I felt that it was really good since we shared as a group.
- God has mercy on all of us and is always ready to forgive our sins as long as we repent.
- God knows us inside out.
We prayed for each other during the last night of the camp, and I could sense the presence of God with us. It was so real and I wanted to have more of it.
PD shared about a loving community in church during service on Sunday. I was really touched by God's unconditional love for us and felt that we should also share this love of God to the people around us. Not only through words--- showing care through little actions but doing it with great love. =)
