I am in my NEW house now. This is the second day in my new house, and also my second
homestay family. I have a really huge room, shall take pictures of it and upload it when i return to Singapore.
On Friday, Josh, Charles, Chen
Ee and I prepared a meal for 13 people. The main cook was Charles and the assistant chef was Josh. So Chen
Ee and I were just trying our best not to make a mess of anything. It was really memorable cos the whole atmosphere was really great and the spaghetti was great. The salad that me made was also nice jus that it lacked of potatoes. =(
The principal treated us to a Japanese lunch on Saturday which was really nice of him. It was a lunch to thank our
homestay families for
ther willingness to accommodate us. Our
homestay families have been great to us, providing us with everything that we need so that we can feel at ease most of the time. Also, they made sure that we do not go hungry and fed us with nice food.
After lunch, we headed straight to
JiuFen to meet the
Aiesecers. And Chen
Ee's homestay parents were really nice to bring us all the way to that faraway land. The whole car journey was approximately 1.5 hours. It would have take 2-3 hours if we were to take public transport. Then we shopped the market and found really lots of goodies that we can buy back to Singapore. But since most of the goodies can only be kept for at most a month, we couldn't buy much. After shopping around, we headed back to the church where we would be staying over for the night. I think that some activities which were carried out were inappropriate especially when it is inside the church complex.
The next day we headed to
Keelong Miao Kou and had a lot of nice food. Chen
Ee and I shared almost everything cos there were too much food to try. Then, we went to
YeLiu to see the well known Queen's Head. It started to rain very heavily when we were about to leave. I thought I could faint anytime cos it was really freezing and I wasn't feeling well. The bus journey to Taipei city was torturing cos it took almost 2 hours. I couldn't sleep and had motion sickness as well. But the trip to
YeLiu was worthwhile.
Some of my photos have been accidentally deleted by one of my
homestay kid, and I'm not really feeling good about it cos more them 100 of them are gone at one go. =( Christmas party, nice building,
Keelong scenery's are all gone!
