I’m really going back to Singapore soon. Time flies, and in a blink of an eye, I’ve completed my 7.5 weeks of traineeship which I definitely will miss. My homestay parents, the teachers and students in the school, and all the unforgettable trips that we had in Taiwan. I had a totally new countdown experience, celebrating my New Year overseas for the first time. I knitted close relationships with my homestay families, the type of families which I yearned to have in the future, giving each other encouragements all the time.

I’m finally in the airport and I don’t seem to be able to stop my tears from dropping. Before I left, I received a phone call from Jack’s mum, asking me to visit Taiwan again when I’m free. And my homestay mum said that I could stay at her place if I would like to visit Taiwan again in the future. I wanted to hug them one by one before I left but I knew I would be soaked in tears.

Goodbye Taiwan!
