why am i blogging now?
okay. apparently, i'm really bored with words. haha. and I've been struggling to sleep early for the past few days but to no avail, so i thought, i might as well just stay up and blog.
anyway, i was prompted to list down all the things that Jesus had done in my life for the past 20 years of my life when i was having quiet time. and so i shall list a few today.
- I always had nightmares during my JC days. I will be unable to control myself nor defend myself and could only call out to Jesus in my unconsciousness, and whenever i call out to Him, He will wake me up from my dreams immediately. As time passed, I was able to regain consciousness faster, and the nightmares ceased eventually.
- I've never really slept alone in the room before, until Justina "abandoned" me in the room. Initially, I had to sleep with the lights on. But now, before i sleep, I'll pray on
Proverbs 3:24-26. If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes, for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught.
- thank You Jesus for protecting me even before I knew You. Whenever I think of childhood days, I'm always amazed that I survived through it, and i know it's all due to His abundant grace and mercy.
- thank You Jesus for loving me, so that I may love others as well. whenever i think of the past, there'll be forgiveness and not hatred. there's joy in loving!
