learning point: the world outside my comfort zone is really different. there's a great disparity between those people i work with during yog, and my own circle of friends. i finally experience the challenges of Christians working in a non-Christian environment and also the challenges of being salt and light when i start working. It's good preparation though, at least i know what to expect out of the sheltered environment that i have been pampered in.

i was watching the live broadcast of the manila bus hijack crisis yesterday, and i really feel saddened by the whole incident and the way things were mishandled. it's not right for me to judge though and all that we can do is just pray for God to heal and comfort the hearts of the victims' families, and also to heal those who are injured physically. for those who witnessed the whole trauma and survived, let's pray that this wouldn't become a nightmare that will haunt them for the rest of their lives...
